I wonder if Obama is aware that Jesus tacitly endorses slavery in more than one place in the NT. Here’s 1: The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. “But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given.” (Luke 12:47-48 NLT)
I guess 2 people are buybull believing, willfully ignorant, fearful, hypocritical, fat, slothful, lustful, adulterous, toothless, trailer-livin’, pew-sittin’, Faux News watching morons.
Shariah law does not allow lending in return for interest. So perhaps there would not have been the kind of predatory lending by banks leading to the foreclosure crisis. LOL.
@theromashka1 Wow. What a statement. Unfortunately, it reflects the view of many right-wingers who just have no clue. I’m not trying to be sassy, but c’mon. You can’t possibly believe it’s as simple as that, can you?
@kixmet little exaggeration, my friend
@theromashka1 how does one make 10,000 babies?
Looney Moonbats.
Obama came to his Christianity the same way most atheists come to their atheism . . . by choice.
@fastedge 95% is a symbolical number. If you are poor in US it’s easy to change things. It’s matter of choice! What you do is, try not to make 10000 babies while you are on welfare, get education and find a decent job. That’s how it works! And then your life will be better!
@theromashka1 : Is that a number you just pulled out of thin air (95%)? Don’t answer. Of course it is.
To say that poverty is the effect of laziness show that you know nothing about poverty.
Newt only has one real question “Do you want me on my knees or holding my ankles”.
I kind of agree with notion that some American people are poor just because they don’t work enough. I believe that’s true in 95% of the cases.
@cookeladoo Good to hear, ‘cos otherwise I was a bit worried abut your education! And yeah, it would be better if the most powerful guy in the world didn’t have an imaginary friend, but at least Obama is just religious in passing; it doesn’t seem to dominate his thinking.
@TheSickness14: If you ask me to give my honest opinion, based on Obama’s latest interview where he claimed to be a Christian, I think he lies based on his body language. I don’t however think he is a Muslim either. He is a politician however, and he knows that in a country where most people are stuck in one brand of religion, it makes sense for him to play along or get the boot. He is most likely a non-believer in my opinion. But being a politician…arggh we are screwed.
@cookeladoo And I don’t think you’re all screwed, I think Obama is in the Democratic Party of the United States for a reason, I believe it means that he is one of those people who believe in the seperation of religion and state, although I might be wrong.
@cookeladoo You could have just read the Wikipedia page to get some clue about Obama’s religion (or lack of thereof)
The most subsidize state when he was speaker of the house was Georgia. What a cocksucker he is.
Barry is likely my favorite Christian
It is refreshing to hear a reverend explain what a secular govt actually means – i.e. – not a theocracy. The pope also condemned secularism in govt on his recent vist to the UK – as he is not a stupid man it is good to hear him in effect admit he wants a theocracy (the very worst form of govt there is).
@GriffinPilgrim: Hehehe, I’m just acting a bit stupid here mate, I am very much aware of the Christian Monopoly on US presidency and the politics behind it. It just amazing, but not surpricing, that people will trust someone in that position who still believes in Santa….oh I mean God. All you need is a majority of delusionals to vote and whala…delusional leader, no matter what party.
This guy is great. These are the types of people atheists need if we are ever going to find common ground with the religious.
@cookeladoo Um, it was hardly a secret. I think all American presidents have been Christians. It’s a matter of degrees.
@TheSickness14: I suspected..he looked like one of those delusional types
@cookeladoo You really didn’t know?
WTF !!! Obama is a Christian…OMG we are all screwed. Here is a guy who believes in an invinsible sky daddy running the most powerful country in the world.
When the hell will this shit end?
