Is it bad for a muslim to become a tattoo artist?

   You wont go straight to hell, your still a muslim. But you will be judged and punished for it, To harm and scar your body is haram. Tattoos are haram and if you know this why get it? what good will it do in the long run anyways. Just dont get one, and yes it would be haram to be a tattoo artist even if u dont have tattoos, you cant give or put haram on others, just like you shouldnt do for yourself. Its just like you being a bartender but not drinking, its still very wrong and your spreading haram. Youll be sinned for every person you inflict that on.

   There is no hell,muslims are(mostly)muslims because they were brought up as muslims by muslims,just like most catholics in Ireland were brought up as catholics by catholics.

   i dont know what other muslims think,,, but there is nothing in the quran that says that the tatoo is haram,,, its a decoration to feel and look better just like changing the color of ur hair or making ear piercings,,, ur hurting ur body but its not haram… and tattoo artist is a job,, not haram at all except if ur a girl and draw tattoos for guys,,, its haram to touch one:P but ther than that its not,,,, lol if in ur country they say that is haram go to mine:P its only makruha in lebanon;)
