(as a black person) i dont have a problem with him pandering, hes a politician, BUT its sad that this is his big attempt to get black votes, very sad attempt. go out, on mlk day, to a random group on the street and say “who let the dogs out” when its not even called for (and black people never even liked that song, white people ate it up) NOW, what makes romney supporters think he just panders and says anything that he thinks will work just to black people. he does it with EVERYONE.

Although, I’m a staunch advocate of Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment: “Thou Shall Not Criticize Thy Fellow Republicans,” I will admit Mitt comfortable with people of color, owing to fact that he didn’t do military service, unlike John McCain, who is a professional military man, and who during the Vietnam War, found himself in tiger cages, while Mitt lived in ivory towered suites. McCain is truly a hep cat, as all who have gotten down and talked jive with him will attest.
Weird Al is obviously very white, but he’s ethnic. The kind of waspiness represented by Mitt Romney is ultimately whiter, I think.
Although that’s a judgement call, of course.
