@brian8793 I wish those Departments were gone. No Child Left Behind has done nothing but decrease the overall education of kids. I went back to the current high school curriculum of my old school and they’ve already lowered the standards so kids can get better grades and we still outperformed them. Sad…. Why is the federal government even involved in such programs?

@badkarma52 Look, I probably agree with you on many issues. I agree with Ron Paul on MOST issues. I know he will not win the election. I literally think there is a 0% chance of him beating Obama or Billary. So knowing that, why would I support him? Mitt Romney has already proven that he can work with Spendocrats, which unfortunately, is something The President has to do!

@brian8793 I am not sure I heard this but lets say if you are right, please tell me whats has dept of energy accomplished so far, if they were performing well, by now we would have alternate solutions to energy problems. Again, all the govt. insititutions won’t be abolished over night, he is going to cut massively from dept of defense and make it a real dept of defense and not what it is today, dept of attack……

@brian8793 You don’t need a lawyer to read and comprehend the Constitution, it’s written for people in even the least educated state to understand. Also, if popularity is what you seek in the leader of the country, then why not nominate Trump, or Palin for that matter. Fact is, that “old whiny man” as you so eloquently put it, is the only person running who wants to limit the federal government, not expand it, wants to shrink deficits, not grow them. Romney wants neither of these things.

@brian8793 I don’t think you follow ron paul completely. Though he wants to bring back all troops home, abolish the fed, get rid of social security, get rid of medicare – he is not going to do all at once but gradually to cut deficit. Troops will be coming back home even after he is longer president. He is probably going to bring back troops from iraq and afghanistan first and that will take us back to the troop level of 2000 – now that not childish, its very realistic..
@ednan9 Why do you think Ron Paul has a chance in hell of winning a presidential election? Because he wants to “bring the troops home?” I wouldn’t vote for him for that very reason. Democrats wouldn’t vote for him once they learn ANY OF HIS VIEWS. He is a staunch Conservative, and has the same chance as Kucinich as winning a Presidential election.

@ednan9 When men have problems, they don’t give up and “take their ball home.” They try their hardest to figure out how to best impact their fellow man, and that’s what Romney wants to do. Romney has fixed numerous large companies because of his knowledge and communication skills.
