Guys like Romney and McCain may seem “conservative” next to a bog government type like Obama, but in terms of the Constitution and small government, the only difference is where they believe government should grow. Example: many republicans support a marriage amendment in Congress. Guys like Ron Paul would object. It’s an issue for the states, an the fed gov touching the issue is not right either way, cause the constitution doesn’t grant the power or jur
