Would Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels be a good president?
Imagine a two-term Republican governor from a state carried by Barack Obama who turned an $800 million deficit into a $1.2 billion surplus by cutting overhead and bringing sound business principles to his state’s government even as he provided new health benefits for poor citizens. Imagine no longer. Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels accomplished this and more, and he did it all while enacting the biggest tax cut in state history.

Using the Moonie paper as a source, sigh, the great Governor might be all that, but how can we know, relying on the cult paper for info and all. As long as he doesn;t run as a Republican, he might have a chance.
I live in Indiana. when the recession hit, he had a surplus to carry the State through. The guy is smart. He has done a bang up job. I sent him a thank you card for the really nice refund I got from my reduced home property taxes.
ADDED: As far as Presidential candidate, that would be his call. He would be the only one to know if that would be his expertise. I never met him, I just see the positive results of his efforts,
He did it in Indiana and another did it in New Mexico and yet you offer such incompetence as Sara Palin…………Why ???
I live in Indiana and hes done an amazing job.
