I guess it depends on how you look at it. I never heard him as condescending. you already dont like him when you start to hear him so that is the way you perceive it. its all in perception.
Well to answer this question you have to go look back in history…
Now at the age of 7 Mike Huckabee was raped by his uncle…
Then at the age of 13 he had a fetish with poop. So after he was done he would sit on the toilet seat, and poop on toilet paper (Also known in the streets as TP)
He would then grab the tp, put it on the counter, and experiment with it with tooth picks.
What does any of this have to do with your question? Well IDK but its a start.
Folksy and condescending are two different things; and while not opposites, are close enough.
Mike Huckabee is a preacher, and in many eyes that makes him a teacher. He teaches. I don’t agree with what he teaches, but I would not consider it condescending. He has ideas, with SOME logic behind them, and wants to get them out there. Just like everyone else with their own ideas.
Yes, it IS to hide his toxic religious bigotry. My god (no pun intended), you were RIGHT ON (no pun there, either… ok, maybe just a small one). Yes, Mike Huckabee is an absolute right-wing N***er-hating “hang’em’high” kind of insatiable republican that willl NEVER, EVER STOP UNTIL “JESUS’” HAS LANDED FROM HIS SPACE SHIP FOR THE SECOND COMING AND HE HAS PASSED JUDGEMENT ON US ALL”. Now, you and I are smart enough to know that therre is no heaven, now hell, and no god, much less the SON of god whom is to come back to JUDGE us. With the exception of the 7 to 10 seconds of the numa numa kid that you will have to put up will throughout this video, I recommend THIS TO OPEN YOUR MIND JUST A LITTLE FURTHER….. Link at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcBV-cXVWFw&NR=1 watch it in full screen with good volume, and, once again, I apologize for the numa numa kid, even if his ass is in there for only 7 seconds….. and PAY ATTENTION…………
It’s the way of politicians these days. One minor flaw of Obama’s speaking style, IMO, is his constant use of the word “folks”. He uses this word to label his audience. It’s annoying in it’s forced folksiness. Beyond that people like politicians who seem like they are, hence the appeal of Sarah Palin to some. We like everyday people who attend potlucks and hence know our struggles; when we should instead be rooting for the brain, the guy who reads and knows public opinion, one who can speak to us but also above us. There’s nothing wrong with having high aspirations for a leader.
He appeals to a lot of people. He’s straight forward and speaks well. I normally despise his kind, but I kind of like him. I don’t agree with him, but I think he speaks what he really believes. He doesn’t manufacture talking points and spew partisan hatred and bigotry like Hannity does. He seems to be more reasonable and affable. And that’s why Fox brought him on board. He’s not a hardline partisan like Hannity or O’Reilly, and it’s easy for people on the other side of the political aisle to like him.
Yes.
He’s under the impression that its charming and original lol

Over all he’s a nice guy but “yes” to the religious part.

Could be, he’s not an out spoken bigot like Hussein Obama, or most of the terrorist that he has appointed so far. We KNOW they are bigots and racist.
