Romney Vs Huckabee: Mormon Vs Born Again Afterlife
Mitt is bringing some attention to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and people like Mike Huckabee are wanting to point out beliefs they think are odd. Well, this video contains an Evangelical belief that is beyond odd, and frankly puts Mike Huckabee in the position of being a President that believes the majority of Americans are headed for eternal damnation. Yep, he believes that.
@marcuslebeau I am Mormon, and I know what I believe. If you really want to know what Mormons believe then I would recommend going to an official source, rather than to people who aren’t Mormon. You can find accurate information on mormon.org.
No sir! Mormons HAVE a false god and a false jesus! The false gospel you preach will condemn you. God doesn’t send people to Hell! The people chose Hell because they do not worship God as He is. joseph smith taught that his god is an exalted man. He taught that his jesus is born from sexual relationship from the mormon god and mary! mormons believed the lie of the Devil by thinking that they can become gods.

@marcuslebeau Mormons believe in the same God and the same Jesus Christ as any other Christian. They are, indeed, Christians. And just a question: Why would God, who is merciful and loving, only pick a few favorites to send to Earth who believe in him, then damn the rest of His children?
This isn’t Romney talking.
• You got my vote Governor Mitt Romney 2012
We are posting lies?? haha! Mormons are deceivers sir, and you are a good talker! Being good doesn’t get you into Heaven. You have to get saved by believing on Him whom God has sent. On Him alone! Mormons have another god, another jesus and another gospel. You are not Christians. Romney denied what Huckabee said and he is a liar since the mormon jesus and the Devil are indeed spirit brother. This is Mormonism 101 and Romney grew up believing that!Mormons are ashamed of what they believe clearly!
The Bible clearly states that those people are without excuse! Those of course on their way to Hell. Read Romans 1:16-25. The 5 foolish virgins were told to go away for it was too late. The rich man wasn’t given a second chance… So you can try to deceive people all you want with your nice speeches, the Bible is what it is. And yes you are right, Baptist know Mormonism better than the Mormons since we know the history of it. Jesus taught at Mathew 16:20 and down that you cannot earn Heaven.
You are truly a deceiver.I was raised Muslim in France and I am now a Baptist and guess what? I live in Utah! N1 Mormons do not believe everyone who is good is going to Heaven with the Father; you have to believe in Joseph Smith to access the highest degree of glory. N2, Mormons do believe that their “Jesus” and the Devil are indeed brothers, since they come from the same heavenly parents. N3, you have to accept Jesus deity as opposed to believing the Trinity to go to Heaven.
@Stevensolo1
Steven,, so the boy goes to hell huh!? Arent you special? you were lucky enough to be born in a country where Christ was made known unto you. God must love you more huh. your right, God has given freewill, we are given to act upon certain laws, and we cannot break laws we are ignorant of… and that will never change. As far as your qualifications of being with Christ, i agree but everyone will have the opportunity to accept it wether in this life or in the next(before judgement)
If Huckabee is the Republican nominee for president, look for substantial numbers of Mormons to defect or abstain. Mormons are the key to Republican victory in many Western swing states; if Huckabee actually wants their votes, he’d better start mending fences now.
-Orson Scott Card
Mormons have delivered the vote for Republicans year after year, but the GOP would be wise to remember that Mormons don’t actually belong to them. We noticed and will not forget Mike Huckabee’s viciously anti-Mormon mockery of Mitt Romney during the 2008 campaign.
@ leadmeguideme the boy your talking about would go to hell.God is a God of freewill and its up too you on where you wanna spend eternity..to get to heaven you 1/ Admit your a sinner Romans 3-10 2/ Be willing to turn from your sin Acts 17-30 3/ Believe that Jesus died for you Romans 10-9-10 4/ Ask Jesus into your heart Romans 10-13 = Born again.Acts 4-12 Salvation is found under no other name but JESUS! John 14-6 Jesus said i am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father but by me
It truly amazes me that you can say you”don’t judge people if they don’t happen to agree with my beliefs” and in the same sentence”Mike Huckabee…and flat out judge him.You say before that”I love all people who are good.” How do you REALLY know who is good and who is bad??Oh wait that is a judgment again. That is the whole point. You and I don’t have the right to say who is good and who is bad. You are not the LORD.
think it is wrong for you to say that Mike Huckabee believes that 70% of Americans are going to burn in hell. I have listened to his words and there is no animosity towards people who do not believe what he believes. He always says people can believe what they want. I do not think that people shouldbe so concerned about this and if they are then they are letting something bother their own conscience.
Boy, Man, that makes no difference. If he never heard of Jesus Christ during his life, even if he lived to 100, he would die and go to hell according to evangelical beliefs. NO MATTER how he lived his life. A person cannot accept Christ in this life unless they hear his name and teachings, so this Man would not be able to do that. Bottom line, unless you believe they will have a chance to hear his name and teachings in the next life, evangelicals believe he will go to hell. This is fact.
What I have found through much research on the Mormon faith (keeping an open mind) is that there are MANY, again, MANY strange/racist/contradicting “scriptures” in the Book of Mormon that the LDS picks and chooses over what they want to believe in any given debate. They still cannot accept the fact that the Book of Mormon contradicts the Holy Bible, and itself. When presented with that question, the only response you will receive is a question of whether YOU have a correct translation.
So lastly let me say this. Our differences are very clear. Christians believe that the Holy Bible is accurate, and without contradiction. The Book of Mormon contradicts not only the Holy Bible, but also itself. Everything is different from the character of God, the conception of Jesus, the afterlife, and salvation. You can call yourselves a “religion”, but to specify that you are Christians while blatantly ignoring such Biblical contradiction is an outright blasphemy.
The “MAN” however, will be called on by God at some point. A grown man will experience God, his calling, and either reject it or accept it. A man that accepts Jesus Christ will go to heaven. One who denies Christ will not. Matthew 10:33 clearly states that a person who denies Christ will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Rev. 3:20 says that he stands at the door and knocks, and he who hears his voice and opens the door, I (Jesus) will come in…John 6:44 clearly says that God draws us to Him.
When you talk of a boy that never experiences God, you go on to state that he becomes a good “man” and gets married and later dies. Then when you want to state that he dies and goes to meet judgement, you then say “the evangelical believes that this ‘BOY’ is going to burn in hell for eternity”. It is you, sir, that are twisting words. Evangelicals believe of an age of accountibility. The ‘boy’ who has not felt Gods presense calling him would go to heaven.
The narrator is 100% correct in saying that every Evangelical leader has a well-rehearsed list of anti-Mormon talking points. I personally don’t think Mormonism isany more bizarre than Evangelicalism. I think it would be hilarious for the Republican party to nominate Mitt Romney in 2012 and force Evangelical bigots to hold their noses and vote for a Mormon. All these kooky beliefs are an offense to reason and hurtful to civilization, and I hope humanity outgrows them.
The parallelism of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit is not unique to Matthews Gospel, but appears elsewhere in the New Testament (e.g., 2 Cor. 13:14, Heb. 9:14), as well as in the writings of the earliest Christians, who clearly understood them in the sense that we do today—that the Father, the Son, and the Spirit are three divine persons who are one divine being (God).
How can you say that the Bible never instructs us to acknowledge the Trinity? That is flat out wrong.
The doctrine of the Trinity is encapsulated in Matthew 28:19, where Jesus instructs the apostles: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Joseph Smith is a con artist,a pervert,a child molester,a bigamist and a murderer and? Brigham Young took over where he left off ,only more so
Like what? Care to give a specific example of what was incorrect? If I am in fact incorrect I will gladly change it.
