   Claudia, listen carefully to what Huckabee said about Islam & the land of Israel. He did not say that it’s mentioned in the Koran, nor that it’s key to their religion. He simply said it is “significant” to Muslims.

   Gov. Huckabee is the ONLY American political leader to courageously stand for Israel. Let’s show some gratitude and appreciation. These days, Israel needs all the friends she can get. Huckabee could be president of the U.S. in 2013. He was almost the 2008 Republican candidate.

   From comments below, I think some have misunderstood Huckabee. He never said that the ONLY reason Israel was founded was to be a refuge from Nazis. He knows that the Jews have the right to the land, given to them by G-d forever. But to the rest of the nations, the “reason” the UN voted to give the land was so the Jews could no longer be exterminated, but instead have the right to defend themselves (like in the book of Esther).

    Recently, Americans rapidly moved to the left, so , it is so nice to see some decent people like Huckabee who is not afraid to say truth loudly.

    I disagree with Huck re Muslims. Their only connection with Israel is conquest. There is nothing in the Koran about Jerusalem or the land of Israel. Their interest is not religious.

    Although I appreciate Mike Huckabee’s support for Israel, I also agree with your rebuttal of his “refuge” remark. Obviously, he has not studied Torah enough, but then that’s no surprise, as he is a Xtn.

    * I appreciate all the support that Xtn Zionists have for the State of Israel, but in reality, we all know that their pro-Zionistic stance has more to do with their apocalyptic Christological visions than anything else.

    EXCEPT @ 4:15; Israel does not exist as a place of refuge for the Jewish people because of Hitler’s war, because the Jewish people could have made any country into their place of refuge. Israel exists only because it is the land given by God to the Nation of Israel.
