Wasn’t Michelle Obama talking about Hillary and not Sarah?
When Michelle Obama said that the Biden pick shows that her husband is not afraid of smart people, wasn’t she putting down Hillary Clinton. After all, she was speaking of her husbands choice, not McCain’s. It’s easy to say she was implying Sarah is stupid, but I think it’s possibly much deeper.

I don’t think it’s that at all. Just because Obama didn’t pick Clinton doesn’t mean that Clinton is bad. All Michelle meant by that is that Biden is a good choice and to them, a better one than Clinton. That says nothing about Clinton besides she wasn’t the number one pick.

I personally think Michelle Obama, needs to keep her mouth shut, she is NOT running for President, her husband is. That doesn’t mean that she shouldn’t know what’s going on in the presidential canpaign, but she’s interfering with politics. But to answer your question, she was talking about Hillary.
And here we all thought he was going to put a muzzle on michelle so she didn’t hurt his electability. As for why he didn’t select Clinton, maybe he just didn’t feel he could stand up to a strong woman.

For some reason, I just can’t picture McCain leaning on Palin for her advice and wisdom the way I can Obama with Biden. If McCain wins the election, Palin will just be window dressing wishing she was still Governor.
