Remember when Michelle Obama made that comment about not being proud to be American?
She said something like she hasn’t had a real moment of pride in this country until Barack Hussein was nominated. Is she still being hounded for that ridiculous statement?

Apparently the answer is yes and it is coming from people who never heard the speech and never even bothered to get the quote right.

I am not voting for Obama but I have to say that I don’t think that is what she was insinuating. I think she meant that she has never been so proud of her country in the sense that she is especially proud right now of her country because of her husband. I am glad they hired a speechwriter for her because that sure caused a big stink & took away from the real issues at hand here.
Actually what she said was “For the First Time in My Adult Lifetime, I’m Really Proud of My Country”
a) This does not automatically imply that she is not proud to be an American.
b) It could also mean that generally she is “Proud of her country” but this is the first time that she is “_Really_ proud of her country”.
