Does Michelle Obama need to be placed in a spouses “time-out” with Bill?
I am a neutral Democrat who just wants somebody-anybody to just beat the GOP in the fall. As a black I am very sadded by what she sad and despite past mistakes of America, I have loved my country since I was five (I’m 31 now). Both of our candidates spouses now seem to be a liablity in the fall. Bill and Michelle go away, both of you!!!

That said; Obama is still the right man for America today. Only a radical change will correct the radical right turn America has been on this decade…
Any one with some intellect would know that the media took what Michelle said out of context. What she said was for the first time in my adult life, I’m really proud of America. Then she went on to say, not b/c of how well Obama is doing, but b/c America is pulling together in unity……
If you listen to her entire speech you’d know she meant tha she’s proud of the progess we’ve made as Americans in the political arena. Period. Michelle became an adult while Ronal Reagan was President, so she hasn’t seen the unity of JFK as an adult or been able to participate in it.
People read to much into things and when they do that, they just add fuel to the fire. Stop going by exactly what the media says and do some research. It’s not hard to go to Youtube and hear her entire speech. She’s said this statement before in other speeches, except the other times she didn’t say 1st time.

I understood what she was saying and it did not bother me at all. The media made it more serious than it was. However, I will agree with you about Bill needing to be in time-out.
