The Tea Party people aren’t dumb, they’re just isolated and not fully informed. They mean well, but they are being manipulated to believe in things that are actually counter to their best interests. What can you do? Just calmly educate them, don’t belittle them. They are Americans too and need some help and support.

In reality, the Tea Party and the Republicans in Congress seem to be more like the British government than the Founding Fathers. They constantly block legislation and attempt to take away or attempt to not save fundamental rights and liberties (say, marriage) through their twisted ideologies. They have made government dysfunctional, just like the British government did to the Colonies.
Read the Declaration of Independence for more reasons why the Republicans are the real oppressors.
The vast majority of the reasons why the Founders had a revolution, was lack of representation and a disrespect of the Legislatures of the states. This current lack of respect for Congress, if carried out by a foreign protector, would certainly amount to revolution. In this case, it is carried out by domestic elements.
The Revolution was not really grassroots. It was carried out by local governance against Imperial governance. This current situation is rebellion by the people.
Despite how the Tea Baggers talk of revolution and tyranny, the Declaration of Independence lists more crimes that they would support, along with their King George I, Bush.
A few things listed were King George’s attempts to prevent foreigners from populating the United States. He imprisoned without trial by jury. He blocked legislation necessary to the public good without offering alternatives. He excited rebellion against the US’s governments. He put the military superior to Civil Power.
LMFAO at this crazy woman. How opportunistic of her and the rest of The Fringe Right to jump on their bandwagon. That said, I am in AL checking on my Vietnam Veteran Father’s Health. I live in MN, and I am glad I’ve gotten away from M. Bachmann for a week. Recovery time is a must! LMFAO

Imagine a Tea Party rally with no Obama Joker signs, no signs portraying Obama as a Nazi, or communist, or Kenyan, or Marxist. Nobody would care. The media wouldn’t come. Same thing would happen if Palin looked like Golda Meir. Nobody would listen. It’s an image game, meant to appeal to shallow people influenced by image.
What? DO you suggest that the TEA party doesn’t want more regulation to the financial system! Than means that they should not complain about the current economic crisis then!
They should refuse to get unemployment benefits too!

The Tea party = Fox News watchers. I think it was around March of 2009 when these tea parties started and they wanted Obama out of office after he only been in for 2 months. I wonder if the tea party movement would’ve started if McCain was in office?
