This election coming up is the most lackluster I can remember; its the GOP has little to offer. Agree or not?
I’m fed up with the government not able to govern and the politicians claiming they are making a great sacrifice staying in politics for the good of all of us tax payers. They are super hypocrites and liars, all of them. We should match them out of Washington then fumigate the place to kick out the rats and cock roaches they have created as stable mates. I have for the first time in my life feel our country is non functional with corruption so rampant it is hard to believe it is happening in the great USA. So what happened? The rich want to share with their taxes being increased to level the tax burden but then the GOP says they will not approve of it. That makes no sense like many of the actions of the Democrats who said they would end the wars close Guantanamo and behave in a civil manner. That did nit happen, no sir it didn’t happen. We have candidates running that are so poor, im my opinion, the world thinks we are a country of stupid backward people. Who in the developed world is arguing global warming and creationism? Where do folksy politicians from Texas get attention while making remarks about the state of the world by claiming all sorts of surreal facts.
Is there that many people who think like Mr. Perry or is Mr. Perry selling snake oil? Is It the hatred of Bark Obama so great among some people they will believe anything said about him that is a bold face lie? Is it racial hatred and remorse about voting for Obama to begin with.
I di not vote for President Obama. My first choice was Hillary Clinton who I knew was the best qualified candidate. I don’t remember who I voted for president but it was not for Bark Obama.
It was Hillary’s constituents that put him over in states like Arizona, New Mexico and certainly California.
In order for Obama to repeat this time around he has to retire VP Biden who is a drag on the ticket and move Hillary to VP.
The GOP candidate I think will be Romney He will have to go for Marco Rubio as running mate if he is to have a chance at all. Romney and his Mormon religion is troubling to many dye in the wool conservatives. Many do not think he is Christian and that Mormonism is a cult. The religion is little different all right but people who belong are very strong in their values.and belief system. He also can raise a lot of money from the Mormon population. He is a poor speaker and lousy campaigner so he has to really spend to have a popular image seen of himself. As my statement says I do not believe the GOP has strong candidates. Hey how about Alan Keys the bug eyed candidate in waiting for the GOP no matter the election or the place. I admit i do not like this gentleman as a politician. He comes across as being poured out of a bottle of plastic with a built in talking apparatus hat never stops talking!….nonsense. On to the election my fellow Americans!!!
I too was a Hillary supporter, and I’m from Chicago. Needless to say I was the minority here.
I did vote for Obama though. I like what he stood for. The downside is that sometimes we forget that the president is like a figurehead. He can say what he believes, and use a line or presidential veto, but can’t get what he wants passed like a dictator.
As a dem, I do wish that he was more courageous about his stance on issues. I wish he didn’t always play Mr. Nice Guy. If he was loud about his opinions while in office then at least the psychos could say what they dislike him for as a politician. Majority of what I hear from the opposition is crazy propaganda, and racial slurs. They don’t hold much ground.
I hope the right wing does pick someone up that is good though. I really do like Huntsman, and I think that Chrisite is another guy who would be great for the Republican party as well. They’re not crazy, and have an ability to pick up the independents that really can determine a race for president.
The ones now have little chance once Obama is one on one. Perry’s own words from his book, and else where, will come back to bite him. Ron Paul is alright as well, but he’s a libertarian and the majority won’t jump on board. Bachmann……well anything I need to say most people already know.
I do agree very much with your stance on things though. Politicians are 95% bs, and you just have to sift through the least terrifying of the group typically. I sometimes wish we could just all get rid of the lobbyists that way our government wasn’t so controlled by people that aren’t even elected into office.
disagree totally. the gop offers what we need, relief from radical marxism
You do realize that the election this November is an in between election and the next Presidential election is next year. This election is suppose to be a yawn.
It is way too early to start worrying about a vote over a year away.
i would vote for me again
We are the ones who elect those politicians as our representatives. Who do we have to blame besides ourselves? I don’t see one sentence in this rant that even remotely touches on that guilt. Stop disassociating yourself from taking responsibility for the running of this country. It’s not healthy, and it only encourages them to assume that more of us have done as you are doing.
Romney is the has-been of the GOP, whether he believes it or not, ever since Perry was finally persuaded to run—by their own mutual party. The GOP knows Romney could not have won. The country knows Romney could not have won. Perry is a more standard and therefore more attractive package, with a more valuable history to point to. It’s just fact. Not opinion. Mitt’s religion might have dissuaded Christians, but its his history of poor politics that condemn him to all from the get-go. Just ask those he once “governed”.
BTW, Romney would probably have picked Huntsman for VP. Another mormon. They and their church have a plan……. in place since 1844. Look it up. IF you dare. (Or maybe you already know, if already mormon.) He would have to go by what they say, not what is best for Romney. Because his religion says he must obey without question.
Face facts. Perry is the GOP’s favored choice for candidate. They’ve made that pretty clear by persuading him to run, despite Romney’s candidacy or his millions. Obviously the Democrat’s candidate will be Obama.
