@QRF11B As a side point i think the Guardian is portraying even the corrected stats in a very misleading way. It would be more informative to say how much more likely you are to go to jail if your black compaired to if your white. (and that’s not the same as what they have said in case you think it is)
@QRF11B Well it depends what you mean when you say proportionally, whether your doing it proportional to the population, which i think is the most natural assumption, or compairing the proportion of people in jail who are black compaired to the proportion of people in the general pop. who are black.
