When are Barack Obama and Joe Biden expected to resign from the Senate?

    Whenever they want.

    They are pretty ineffective as senators at this point. Maybe they will stay until the new congress convenes in January.

    They have to resign anytime before January 20th because you are not allowed to occupy more than one Federal office at a time.
