   Yes, that is my favorite one too, the funniest part was that he went to the trouble to learn the guy’s name and his accomplishments and then did that. It would be a great SNL skit, you could even have The Messiah rush to Biden’s aid and cure the guy.

   Although when he used another guy’s speech (verbatim) and said it was his life story, that was pretty funny too.

   My own personal favorite was when he claimed FDR went on TV to speak to the American people following the Crash of 1929.

   Another low moment second would be when he went to campaign rally for someone he called ‘my friend’ and asked the guy to stand up!!!! but the guy was in a wheelchair

    Joe Biden’s denunciation of his own campaign’s ad to Katie Couric got so much attention that another odd note in the interview slipped by.

    He was speaking about the role of the White House in a financial crisis.

    “When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the princes of greed,” Biden told Couric. “He said, ‘Look, here’s what happened.’”

    As Reason’s Jesse Walker footnotes it: “And if you owned an experimental TV set in 1929, you would have seen him. And you would have said to yourself, ‘Who is that guy? What happened to President Hoover?’”
