The problem is most people have lost the ability to disagree on something without resorting to name calling and getting defensive. It’s the same for any hot topic – ie, politics, abortion, etc.
@RebelWinterwolf You are semi right. You don’t condemn the person, the Bible is very clear on that. It’s the act you don’t approve of. Christians are suppose to like people, especially those who are in sin.
I’m a Christian and I’m not going to despise someone because their gay. I have a couple of gay friends myself and while I don’t agree with it, I’m not going to cut them out of my life either. God doesn’t want you doing that.
The whole issue is a hot topic with most people anyway…
@maketheworldsmile3 do you have a copy of the constitution and the amendments? separation of church and state, those words are NOT in there. There are words that state the government cannot make a religion that is of course the reason the ancestors left britian. I do not want a theocracy. Look at how that works in the muslum world. Objecting to gay marriage is NOt a direct violation of that. maybe in your mind. again, I am against a theocracy. God will set up His kingdom in due time.
@me86680
i am a christian. i was baptized when i was 5 years ancient, had communion when i was 7 years ancient and was confirmed when i was 13 years ancient. i know sacraments dont determine whether you are a right christian or not, but i do believe in God.
anyways, who are you to be telling me that im not a christian?
i dont need your permission; you cant tell me who i am. i know who i am.
and stop trying to sound smart, will you? just delight in wanda’s stand up. jeez
@12zuzus I know I don’t critisize all christians only those who use it to justify bigotry I myself am wiccan and have no problems with any peaceful religion, Many of my friends are christian we get along fine. my view is very simple despise is not a family value nor a christian one no one should ever use religion to justify hatred or oppression of any minority for any reason.
@DaPoncher xtians pick and choose which laws of the bible to abide by. how many children have been killed for cursing their parents as recommended in the same chapter of leviticus that says gays are an abomination or witches should be stoned to death. people who believe in the literal truth of the laws of the ancient testament are not distinguishable from islamic fundies. a plague on both your houses.
@DaPoncher the Bible is man’s interpretation of God’s word. If it were truly the word of God, why are there multiple editions and testaments? There are arguments on both sides of that coin. Just because a group of people believe in one set of moral and ethical values, doesn’t mean the whole world has to follow those teachings. That’s why God gives people the option to follow him, or to not. You will just go to Hell if you don’t follow his laws.
Homosexuality is an abomination in God’s eyes…
“am thirsty, well me too!” HAHAHA

Saw a GREAT sign at a Prop 8 protest in DC: “Gay marriage = less gay sex. Does that help?”
@stargate55746 could y’ll shut up please and delight in the humor.
@stargate55746 the logic is that no science has proven the “gay gene” I have an article with sources, let me know, I will gladly send it to you.

So….. only 31 people have any sense?
So….. only 31 people have any sence?
seperation of church and state. objecting to gay marriage is a DIRECT violation of that.
@RebelWinterwolf You are partially right. Repentance and living for Christ is the result of someone being a right Christian.
