I don’t think the wresting of political power for the 2 major parties starts with the presidency. It will have to start with the legislatures (H&S) and local governance. That’s going to be very hard to do with the current thinking on constitutions (state & federal).
The sway that Nader has is better spent in individual state races.

Ross Perot and John Anderson mounted very to fairlt serious independent campaigns. Moreover, the Internet has changed the nature of campaign donations forever [ an advantage to all progressives] and Nader seemed only to benefit from this marginallly if at all. Fact is, he is a bitter, dry toast utopian who fails to ‘move’ people to vote for him or dontae sufficient monies to his campagns. Why is this sodifficult to inderstand?
