As a member of the world’s most exclusive club, made up of most millionaires, poor Joe says he never grabbed the brass ring. Will his son, a successful lobbyist before his committee take care of Joe when the social security payments just don’t make it.
I can’t feel sorry for anyone who makes 150 G’s per year.
Amtrak is expensive, I use to ride it weekly between DC and Philly. And as much as I don’t like his politics, this figure seems reasonable, he wasn’t rich going into the Senate (like most of them). I’ve never heard anyone accuse him of anything fishy financially, so lets concentrate on his politics.

That sounds very, very fishy. Impossible except with some very radical financial plan of some kind. Don’t believe it for a second unless he is a recovering gambler, big time. More likely, sly tax shelters and cagy investments that are unknown to most.

If he wanted to abuse his position and influence to make money he could do it in any number of totally legal ways, as the vast majority of elected officials do. I’d say the fact that he so clearly hasn’t shows an integrity that I find refreshing.
Most people in that position that are that “poor” either have a serious coke habit or the local madam on speed dial.
Joe Biden has been on the Federal Dole for 30 years. The only difference between him and a Welfare recipient is the amount of money they have stolen from the Government. Joe Biden likes what he’s doing, if he wanted to make more money he’d go to the private sector and make twice as much than as a senater.
He makes a lot more than that. If he says he doesn’t, he’s even more of a liar that Buttock Obama himself and we know he lies about everything.
