Joe Biden believes life begins at conception, is he on the path to being pro-life?
I heard him say this yesterday morning on NPR. If he truly believes this then he must believe a woman has the right to kill her baby for nine months! Is this guy insane, deranged, or just willing to build his career on mounds of dead bodies?
He and Barry both believe a woman has a right to kill her baby for nine months. Pretty sick, aye?
I believe a woman should have the right to kill her baby not only up to the first trimester but also until it’s like 15 years old.
He is sick and disgusting and just wanting to please all sides.
Why is it impossible for people to understand anyone who is personally pro-life, but pro-choice when it comes to making decisions for someone else?
I’d like a link to this, not just your word. I think if he actually said he was for legal abortion all the way up to 9 months, it would’ve been allover the news!
First of all, they don’t give abortions up to nine months, they got rid of partial birth abortions.
Second, so what if he is pro-life?
He isn’t running for president.
And I believe he understands that getting rid of something and telling people that they can’t even have the possibility of having an abortion is wrong.
We’d have women in back alleys killing their babies with coat hangers again, it’s sad but true.
Everyone is going crazy over the VPs, who cares?
What matters is the Presidential candidates and their policies.
I think you and Marina misunderstood what Biden said. He believes that life begins at conception but may end with deception. And if Old Joe is as one with his mentor, Obama, he does not believe a woman’s right to kill her baby is limited to nine months. As evidenced by Obama’s three votes against the Born Alive Act, they believe her “right” to kill extends beyond nine months and beyond the womb. If she has a late-term abortion and the baby survives it, she can still order him or her killed by neglect.
Pregnancy termination should be an individuals choice and the individual should be the pregnant women.
It is my believe that only then, when men can die in childbirth should they be allowed to participate in this decision pro or con.
I admire anyone who is pro life and still supports pro choice.
That is respecting an other’s view.
By the way everyone I know who is pro choice is definitely also pro life.
We like our life and do want to live it to our choosing.
News flash, sweetie, people can be both pro-life and pro-choice at the same time.
I am pro-life as far as what is in my own body goes. I would never have an abortion.
However I am pro-choice as far as anyone else goes. It is not for me to decide what is right for anyone else.
Anyone who thinks they deserve to say what someone else does with their own body is an egomaniac.
There’s a basic misunderstanding here. Anybody who’s taken biology 101 knows that life begins at conception. That’s a fact, and it’s not controversial.
Contrary to popular opinion, that’s not the issue that was “above my pay grade” for Obama. The question asked by Rick Warren was, “At what age does a baby get human rights?”
So yes, even pro-choice people are aware that the fetus is alive. But they also believe that the fetus is not entitled to the full range of “human rights,” as the mother is. Therefore, under certain circumstances, they believe it is moral for the mother to end the life of the fetus.
Personally, I lean toward a “pro-life” position. But I wouldn’t go so far as to say that those who disagree are “deranged.” After all, it could be argued that, if the fetus were to have full human rights, then there should be no abortions even to save the mother’s life. And very few people would go that far.
