Is it true that Joe Biden will be stepping down as the VP nominee around October 5th?
I have heard recently that Biden will be stepping down due to “health reasons” on or about Oct. 5th and that Hillary Clinton will replace him on the ticket.
Does anyone think this might be true?
How will this impact the campaign if it happens?

No…but McCain’s camp will certainly love to make people believe another one of their lies or at least distract people from talking about the real issues. I guess they think that the more lies they can throw out there, the greater possibility that one will stick.

I can’t believe it would really happen unless Biden died or was completely incapacitated. Otherwise it would look like a stunt to draw attention, and would backfire.

I don’t think it’s true. If Obama would do the very risky move of switching his VP selection before the election, he would be better off making that switch as soon as possible. They wouldn’t plan to make that announcement in 2 weeks; they would make that announcement now to give the American public more of a chance to recover from the shock of “Obama made a mistake choosing his VP” before the election.
Nah, I think he’ll wait until after Palin cleans his clock during the VP debate, at which point, he’ll have real health issues.
Maybe you got stories mixed up or you have been over exposed to Rush and Fox News, it could be Sarah who is going to step down.

I doubt that neither the McCain nor Obama campaign put this out, rather a troublemaker (from either side) just trying to make a fuss. And here we are, fussing about it. Guess we’ll have to wait until Oct. 5.
