Edward Kennedy Memorial Service – VP Joe Biden (Part 1)
Vice President Joe Biden pays tribute to Sen. Edward Kennedy at the memorial service for his uncle at the JFK Presidential Library in Boston. Biden said Teddy was “an incredible man” who “in an unexpected way ended up playing an important part in my adult life. “I wouldn’t be standing here… were it not for Teddy Kennedy.” Biden adds that Kennedy was a good friend. “He sort of took on the role of being my older brother,” Biden said. “He was there all the time.”
Joe Biden claimed that the $862 Billion failed stimulus ($400 remains unspent) “created or saved” 750,000 jobs. Economists don’t recognize jobs saved, and the jobs saved may have been keep local agencies afloat. When the money ran out, the people lost their jobs. You’re forgetting an aspect of a democracy. That aspect being the separation of church and state. So according to you, democratically he is doing exactly what he should. Now I also don’t think he should be cursing, but for different reasons that do not have to do with religion.

I couldn’t help but see a number of beautiful young children in the audience and sadly I pondered what message these young ears would take. Painfully, my own ears were pierced with profanity after profanity rolling off your tongue displaying a lack of respect for your vast audience. You swindled your own heart, but I don’t think God will accept this approach. James 1:26 If you think you are religious and do not bridle your tongue, but swindle your own heart, your religion is worthless.
