You do realize that the top 1% already pay for 40% of all government. Also taxing them 4% just motivates factories to leave more. Every tax increase on the rich has a domino effect. Meaning it leads to jobs leaving the US which means more unemployment ultimately leading to government spending more on welfare which will lead to government spending more to get out of this mass either leading to debt or higher taxes.
So you want me to believe that a 4% tax increase on people earning over $250k is a burden…..lets see. So a guy making 400k pays an extra 4% x 150K = $6000
