A Christmas message from the senator who threw a little bitchy hairdresser fit because actually working up until Christmas would get in the way of his holiday soirees. Our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq are working on Christmas. Are they disrespecting the holiday? Are the doctors and nurses in hospitals on Christmas disrespecting it?
BTW, Mr. Christian Senator. Christmas isn’t the holiest of Christian holidays. Easter is. You should know that.

Thanks Senator for you devoted work, you and Senator Coburn are the two statesmen that come to mind when I think of the Senate. And to all constitutionalists (of which i am one myself) who are complaining on this page. The President is Commander and Chief, Congress gave him the power to use war and now technically Congress cannot force the troops to come home. The president decides what to do after he is allowed to send troops, all they can do is cut off funding.
I’m sure the troops would like to come home. Why dont you and your idiot colleagues in the senate end these fucking wars?
