What did Jeb Bush do in 2000 to hundreds of black voters in FL?
Was it legal? Illegal? What was the remedy the courts decided? If one cares about voting rights, which had more negative impact on the rights of the electorate…Jeb’s decision, or the two guys in PA in front of a polling place?
Mama: If I told you, it wouldn’t be a question. I didn’t fail to tell you what he did…I want y’all to tell me.
Wow…too lazy to do your own research? Damn you guys are misinformed.

He illegally purged hundreds of voters from voter rolls. 1% of the total electorate and 3% of the black electorate. He was required to write letters of apology for denying their right to vote at the polls. No wonder y’all think 2 dudes is an issue…you don’t know or care about voting rights.
Jeb’s Decision to make his Brother President had a bigger impact.
I personally voted for G.W. Bush because I don’t like Al Gore.
you lost fare and square in 2000. Get over it already for chrissakes! You won in 2008. Not happy about that yet? Lefties!
You failed to say what Jeb did.
The courts decided 4 recounts (which Gore lost all of them) were enough.
Jeb Bush stood in front of voting places with a baseball bat and threatened to bash their heads in if they didn’t vote for Bush?
wow…
Jeb Bush didn’t do anything to hundreds of Black voters in FL. They voted, they lost.
nothing like what ACORN and the black panthers did in 2008
he gave them all lobotomies, which is why the voted for obama in 2008
I didn’t know Jeb singled out black voters, can you post your source
Jeb Bush didn’t do anything, he had no control over the election, that is just another false claim from the left. It was Kathryn Harris the Secretary of the State that controls voting. After 4 recounts the courts had had enough Gore lost in all of them, and the fact the the electorate doesn’t know how to cast their vote has nothing to do with the Governor, that is an individual flaw. I know how to cast my vote, why don’t they. Well the results made the voters of Florida much more aware of how to cast their votes, so they learned a lot from the experience.
Edit: Again, you do not know how the system works, the Secretary of States office is in charge of voting, not the Governor, now you can blame Kathrine Harris all you want, and may be correct, but that has nothing to do with Bush. google, State Elections over sight, florida.
Not a thing. All black voters who were legally allowed to vote were given the same opportunity to vote as anyone else. If those who chose to vote for Gore were not smart enough to make one hole rather than several or make sure their were no hanging Chads, then that is their problem.
What is more concerning is that liberals like yourself seem to miss the bigger point. This is not about two racist losers who like to dress in black clothes and are so weak they need a weapon to protect themselves from those oh so dangerous voters, this is about a presidential administration’s failure to prosecute based on nothing but racial reasons apparently. This is dangerous for all of us regardless of which side you are on politically. Do you not see this?
The Bush family cheated the voters and the country out of who was supposed to be the real president, Al Gore. It was so frustrating to watch as it all unfolded in Florida. Writing an insincere letter of apology doesn’t make it any better. Can you imagine how this country would be different if all the votes actually counted? Would we be in Iraq? In Afghanistan? Would we still have such economic problems? I guess we’ll never know…
