The problem is the Fair tax is not fair at all. There is still a thousand loop holes to buy our vote with. It is a good Idea to get rid of the tax code and all the deductions. make it one rate for everyone 12% with no loop holes on our income for every one is more money then they are getting now.
@stopglobalswarming Yes he was, but he is also for the gold standard. Since the Fed is going to take a long time to abolish if it ever is, whatever progress we can get is good. I would rather see a person who supports the Fed or worked for it come out in favor of the gold standard, than to have nothing at all.
