Herman Cain; Stay United! Stay Informed! Tea party: Liberals can’t handle the facts
Herman Cain at the Americans for Prosperity Foundation meeting said that America is an exceptional county, and he is 100% right about that. We are the best and maybe the last hope of the people of the world who still yearn for freedom. We are what the people of the world are waiting for. We need to repair what is wrong with us at home, and then after that we need to continue to preach and spread human liberty throughout the world. The continent of Africa would be a good place to start. If we do not get more involved in Africa, then the Chinese and others will, and in fact they already have. Our main goal needs to be that every nation on earth is ruled in a democratic way, and this includes the countries of Africa. Some on the right will say that it is none of our business, and that it is not our responsibility to spread individual liberty and democracy throughout the world, but they are wrong. If we do not take an active part in the world then others will, and then some day we will wake up to the fact that the rest of the world does not share our belief in freedom and democracy, and then that is when we will pay the price for our none involvement. The world will not end up free just because it is the right thing to be. We must be do our part and share the blessings of our freedom with the rest of the world; it is our duty as a free people. Now about this Herman guy. I have listened to him on the radio when he subs for Neil Boortz, but I never have heard about his father …
@FireCannon27 The thing is that doing the right thing is also a lot of the time the best thing for my country, but the two cannot be distinguished apart. For example: Help Europe and the Soviets fight against Hitler. Did we do it for Europe? Or did we do it for ourselves? It is both, but one can pick one and make us out to be self centered. I believe that a free and democratic Middle East will in the end be good for the Middle East and for us. So why do I want it to happen? Take your pick.

They messed up while trying to evacuate the dutch civilians (while they should just have helped the civilians who are suspressed, but that aside. My oh so right prime minister doesn’t agree on that, and the leftist opposition shows no spine at all. Dutch politics, nothing ever happens.).

you’re sure you’re conservatieve? You just broke with the american politicy (And of most if not all other countries) from when it was founded. Since when gives america a damn about other countries? And since when do conservatieves? I haven’t seen any deeds of america out of humanity. None from my own country too, by the way. I’ve rarely seen modern nations (Including EU-countries) doing the right thing, too. I mean, who put Mubarak and Ghadaffi there in the first place?
@FireCannon27 As an American conservative I want Obama to show leadership and come out and say that we, with our allies if they want to, will be implementing a no fly zone over Libya in order to prevent the slaughter of the people of Libya who are attempting to overthrow their tyrannical leader. If in the end those who take control of Libya are anti-American, then so be it. We most do the right thing no matter if the outcome is against us or not.
I’m glad to see that the right wants democracy in other countries now. So if the muslim parties win fair and square, you won’t attack them, right? Or if a left party wins, you won’t tell lies to discredit them, right? Or blame them for whatever goes wrong?
