Herman Cain on America Live 4.25.11
Herman Cain appeared on America Live to talk about the threat the United States faces if we fall behind China economically. He also discussed why this problem can only be addressed by having leadership in the White House, stopping the out of control spending that is taking place in Washington, and removing the barriers that are limiting businesses from growing. AMERICAIN !!!!!!!!!
@DeadEyeDave – he’s playing it safe. The economy can be fixed rather quickly without a Fair Tax. You realize that right?
I’m all for a Fair Tax and I belong to FairTax.org, for YEARS. But right now we dont’ need to try and push a new issue when the Liberal Media will try to murder anyone who has an idea. Look at what happened to Steve Forbes.
It’s a damn shame Herman isn’t getting the publicity like trump is. We need real candidates not people showboating to be a serious candidate.
@Somac2006 Yes it would, but again, lowering the corporate tax rate would start the trend. Say Herman is elected. When he takes office an GOP passes Fair Tax, it wouldn’t take effect until the following calendar year, but Corporate Tax rate could be lowered to start economic boom while we wait. Lower Corporate Tax Rate would be in addition to, not in place of, the Fair Tax!
@kasey9fan I agree he’s one of the best people for office.
Vote for this man in 2012.
Just bought my “Herman Cain for President 2012″ bumper sticker today! Good luck, good sir! You have my vote!
@Vanakatherock Perhaps, but it would have far more reaching benefits then just lowering the corporate tax rate.
Amen Mr. CAIN.
@DeadEyeDave He would overhaul the tax system with the FairTax. That takes more time than lowering the corporate tax rate!!
I thought Mr. Cain was a proponent of the FAIR tax system, whereby all income taxes are abolished in favor of spending-based taxes. Why is he mimicking other Republicans in asking for a lowering of the corporate tax rate to 25%? Shouldn’t he be asking for a complete overhaul of the tax system?
