How long will liberals here use the excuse of Blaming George Bush for Obama tanking the economy further?
When many conservatives ask why things are getting worse, I’m constantly seeing the blame George Bush routine from liberals. When Obama’s tax and spend policies completely collapse this economy like they did California, will these morons still be blaming Bush ? In advance for you who don’t know how to tell a liberal from a conservative and get hung up on titles, yes Arnold Schwarzenegger is a Republican, a very liberal Republican who’s policies run lock step with liberal Democrats.
Yes, they will continue to blame Bush, until something positive happens, then they will take credit for it. Like when the Republicans gained control of Congress for the first time in 42 years in 1994, and then forced what was very close to a balanced budget on Clinton. Of course, the Dems all say, Clinton balanced the budget!!!! Hogwash. They are too stupid to know what was really happening, just like right now. By the way, play ” Stranglehold ” for me.
For the rest of time. Apart from the fact that the winners get to write the history, history generally doesn’t change as years go by. The Republicans caused the Great Depression 70 years ago. 70 years later, that statement is still true.
And speaking of history, the Bush Administration constantly attempted to re-write it.

I wonder that too. They act like it’s not their problem or something. The Democrats in congress who approved spending and regulations being repealed are just as bad as Bush.
I see job losses slowing, and I saw them getting worse under Bush. The decisions Obama makes are of course his responsibility, but you can’t look at them without looking at how we got into this mess in the first place, and that was largely because of Bush Republicans. They took a surplus into a deficit and an economic meltdown. Until they take responsibility for this, people will not take Republicans seriously.

Most liberals, including myself, don’t blame Bush for the bad economy. We mostly blame deregulation, which is not any one person’s fault.

The door to economic collapse was opened by Presidents Carter and Clinton. Barney Frank helped it along as well. President Bush contributed to the huge deficit with this ‘war on terror.’ President Obama has talked about inheriting a deficit and then, through am amazing amount of spending, has tripled it in a matter of months. He then wants to pass ‘universal health care’, which will increase the deficit by $9 trillion over the next 10 years.
The way I see it, President Obama and his group will blame Bush for everything until the econmoy recovers on its own; then they’ll take the credit for it.
