ex- New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson: Legalize marijuana
Gary Johnson, a libertaran leaning Republican governor of New Mexico from 1995 – 2003, says 90% of the problems are prohibition related and only 10% user related. He goes on to support states’ sovereignty, and during the interview it is mentioned how New York’s refusal to enforce alcohol prohibition triggered a legalizing domino effect.
@mcnowski can you link me results saying this studies? Because i could only find one saying that smoking marijuana causes lung cancer just as cigarretes. Also young people smoking marijuana more often develop testicle cancer.
Any smoke your inhale or narcotic that you use is not good for you. Alcochol, tobacco, marijuana – what ever. Of course you free to use what you feel like – im 100% pro legalization of marijuana and most of other narcotics.
Greetings
@rasiakwood Sorry your very wrong. Ive been studying this issue for over 10 years. The health effects are benificial in all categorys. For instance, long term users have a less chance of developing neck, throat or head cancer then non-users. The list is long. This plant is meant to be used by humans. Do some research.
@mcnowski no its not good for you – but yes its not worse than tobacco or alcochol.
ABout Time!!!!!!!!!!!

Johnson 2012!
in 1995, 500,000 people were arrested under marijuana charges, and 82% of them were arrested for posetion. i am counting the days on my callender, because i cannot wait for 2010, because as soon as that day happens im rolling a 2 gram joint in a american flag paper, getting about 10 other people, and blazing the joint of freedom in the parking lot of my local police station. its about fucking time man!!!!!
god made weed
man made beer
in god we trust.
pass 215, legalize the green!!
ok so first of all, “medicinal marijuana” is legal in 14 or 15 states, including california and new mexico. medicinal marijuana is where you get a persctiption, or a liscense to smoke it. federaly it is ilegal, so feds can bust patients still. obamas administration came out on i think october 19th,2009 (or somewhere around there, give or take a few days) and said that administration plan to have marijuana legalized and regulated in the united states of America, starting with california, by 2010.
Johnson is for reduced government spending which will be better in the long run for everyone. Obama keeps spending and spending and spending and nothing is working. If hemp is legalized, the government will be making so much money on the tax and it is in fact a healthier alternative than cigarettes and alcohol. Johnson 2012
It’s sad it hasn’t been legalized yet… especially industrial hemp.
If Johnson runs and Ron Paul does not, he will have a huge grassroots organization in the Campaign for Liberty waiting to help him out.
If he does run, everyone head to Iowa and campaign HARD. Romney cannot be allowed to get a good start. Momentum is a powerful force in elections.
Johnson 2012!
Did he make this statement while in office? either way, HIGH FIVE. but sometimes these politicians like to hide their real thoughts to get votes blllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
DEF! xD
Nah, it’s no big xD
Also, I’m really looking forward to the day that marijuana becomes legalized
Was just thinking about it today as I heard of a legalization bill moving through Mexico’s capital.
Oh. Well I feel ignorant.
lol Entree literally means “entrance” in the french although in english it’s usually used to describe a main course in a meal.
