How do you feel about the White House doing the report from General Petraeus on Irag?
Given thе fact thаt thіѕ administration hаѕ nοt bееn up front wіth thе people аnd hаѕ continued efforts tο keep thе war going, hοw dο уου feel аbουt thе White House doing a cover-up οr putting a rosy look οn thе war?
I expected thе report tο gο tο Congress frοm thе General nοt tο gο tο thе White House rhetoric committee.

No surprise!! If i am supposed to be overjoyed about "progress" being reported after five years of blunders, sorry I’m not. Beating the drums for Osama( "we will hunt him down, he can’t hide"), abandonment of the hunt for Osama, Invasion of Iraq for WMD, Building huge military bases, no- bid contracts to Haliburton( no surprise there), inferior materials in reconstruction projects( no over site for these projects), disappearance of billions of American tax payer’s money, disappearance of a quarter of a million weapons, and so on. This much awaited report is not going to change a thing.

Huh? Don’t know what cover up you’re talking about and I’ve never seen a "rosy" report coming out of Iraq. I guess you may be dismayed that some progress is finally being reported? Even NYT & the Dems are grudgingly admitting that things are starting to look better.
Were they doing a cover-up when they published a report with the cover "No WMDs in Iraq"? How do you know when they are lying, if probably the simplest and most beneficial lie they could have told you, would be to tell you they found nuclear weapons or something in Iraq?

I have no doubt what-so-ever that the generals report will be cherry picked and editted to place the administration in the best possible light. What does surprise me is that the White House could possibly believe that American citizens will fall for being lied to and conned again.
Hmmmmm, the Democratic Congress pass’s a law, requiring the White House to submit a report to Congress in September on the progress in Iraq.
Now you complain that the White House is going to comply with Congress’s request ?
That doesn’t make much sense.
