Does the present financial crises assure a big Democratic victory in November including the White House?
Since when things go wrong economically most people blame the White House and the Democrats will do everything possible to show themselves as the rescuers, will this ensure a big win for the Democrats in November?
Probably, but then there will be a big swing in two years for the Republicans once people come to their senses and realize what a big mistake they made. Many people are too emotional when it comes to politics and don’t think long term. Passions are often fleeting.

I don´t think Main Street remotely approves of this plan and those who endorse it, are going to feel the backlash.
If both parties endorse it, it will be political suicide, I don´t think this bill will do squat….The crisis was set in motion long ago, something should have been done at least a year ago…Its a sinking ship, like the titanic, and no amount of money being thrown at it, will save it.
No and the polls blame the Democrats for forcefully jamming this bail out down the throats of americans.
Well if people remember the last democrat president in office and how he and his administration influenced fannie mae and freddie mac to lower lending standards then nothings assured. The point being is that if the media gets serious and actually reports the facts of the financial meltdown they would show there is more enough blame for everyone, including the democrats. Plus what if the bail out goes wrong and the liquidity situation would worsen in the short term. The vote is close enough right now that it’s anyones election even with the financial crisis.
