When will the democrats choose a candidate that actually has a chance of winning the general election?
The democrats have not chosen an electable candidate since Bill Clinton won the nomination. Why do democrats choose candidates who have little to no chance of ever winning the general election?
I guessing not in my lifetime.
Obama unelectable because he’s black?
No Bill Clinton would have lost too if Ross Perot didn’t take away a giant chunk of Senior Bush’s voting supply. He got like 20% of the conservative vote.
And you think that McSnore has this chance?
where are you living? obama is gonna win.wake up out of the fairy tale land your living in lil guy.
I’ve been wondering that since January
i know seriously!! hopefully next election cuz this ones already screwed up
Actually Bill was not really ‘electable’ until AFTER he was elected by 42%. Remember Ross Perot took the winning votes from Bush…
When will the Republicans choose a candidate that actually have American’s best interest at heart? Surly the Democrats have done better this time around. So why did they Republicans choose Bush for 8 years? And you think that the Republicans have done better?
They keep choosing far left liberals, Bill Clinton tried to be more center which will work.
maybe next time.. they would have picked al gore this year if they really wanted to win
man i agree, they sold out to the far left.if they would put up a moderate instead of a liberal.they would have a lot better chance!
They do seem to be an optimistic lot, huh? Don’t have an answer for you.
To Sweetass…you said it, not anybody else here. I wonder why?
Hillary would have done a good job….but NO….she wasn’t ……what?
Already have one, and his name is Obama not OSAMA as you hilarious republicans like to say!. Anyhow when will you Repugs choose a candidate not hell bent on creating a war?
After many years of donating to and campaigning for the democratic party, I have your answer- they won’t.
So- do what I’m going to do- check out the libertarian party- they stand for real change!
Um, McCain and Obama are head to head.
Please base your comments on FACTS and not your opinion.
2008 …. next question.
Hillary would have had a fighting chance in the general. Wild Bill was FAR more centrist than Obama/Biden. This is a center-right country. Liberals don’t get it.
there is too much sibling rivalry in their ranks . . . .explains wqhy the congress has the lowest approval rating ever . . . it is mainly composed of dems. harry and nancy dont help much either.
You must be delusional or something. In 2000 Al Gore received more votes than George Bush. In 2004, John Kerry did not loose by a lot and could have won if he didn’t make so many stupid small mistakes. This year, 2008, Barack Obama will win and will be our next president.
Bitter and angry at the popular Clintons pushed them to a miserable decision.
Works for us republicans…keep up the good work
They are still looking for the next JFK.
But along the same lines, we as Republicans (after Regan) have not do that much better. But the important thing is we did do better because we WON.
vote McCain
tcw
To IhateyouSir
Our involvement in the last war (Vietnam) was started JFK and increased by LBJ (both Democrats)
They just did.
By the way, a democrat won the popular vote 3 elections in a row: 1992, 1996 and 2000. Bush only became president in 2000 because of the electoral college. Remember that the next time you see Obama down a couple of points in the national polls.
When will the GOP ever have intelligent supporters? I mean really when will all the sheep-like followers realize the GOP Fear & Smear Machine is using them to fuel the machine?
The election has been stolen or bought off or taken by inducing fear by the GOP the past two terms and they have put a moron in the White House. Really, what does that say about the GOP?
2008. Thank you very much.
I was wondering this myself. I can’t believe the candidates they have had for the past 3 elections. I know they have to have someone who has more experience than Obama. I still can’t believe Hillary didn’t win the nomination.

does it really matter if the republican candidate is a better cheater.. why do the republicans choose nimkaputs?
They will when the DNC lets them. The whole system is so screwed up the people have little to say in who is nominated. Democrats don’t have a corner on the market for choosing bad candidates. Look who has been in for the last 8 years and who they are running now. Surely you jest!
It is the leadership of the DNC; they have become so far left and out of touch that it actually makes me sad. My father was a democrat through and through and I grew up with a totally different democratic party than what they have now. His party produced Franklin Roosevelt; Harry Truman and John Kennedy. After Lyndon Johnson and the mess that was Vietnam the Democrats started changing when the baby boomers came of age. If you really look at the party as I do, you will see this huge shift to the left after Vietnam and it just keeps on going further and further to the left every year. Howard Dean isn’t someone I think is good to be chairman of that party and I can’t even be rational about Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. What the Democrats have to do to get back on track is change their leaders and get back to middle ground. The Democrats have forgotten how to do this and relate to everyday people and, instead of putting a candidate out there who the people can identify with they try to dazzle and fool voters with smoke screens and mirrors. Their candidates have been a bunch of ivy league educated snobs for the last several elections or they have been flakes such as Gore. Bill Clinton has this good ole boy southern charm about him that people could relate to and that is the main reason he won two terms in office. Howard Dean needs to go.
