Democrats Only! How Does Obama plan to win in November if he cant win swing states?
Im not speaking as a Hillary supporter, but as a person with sense. He cant win Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida. Those are key states in the General Election! As Democrats we need to pick a candidate who can win! Hillary needs this nomination!
he plans to say he wants change and that if hes not elected america is still racist
In this election, anything is possible. I would not underestimate Senator Obama.
Swing states can change and swing differently.
I agree. We need to win in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Currently the democratic party is truly split down the middle. If they settle their differences when all is said and done and the nominee is picked; then I think the one who “lost” should be VP; then I think the dems will truly be united. We don’t want a “nobody” in the VP place either, you know?
Colorado, new Mexico, Virgina, nc, sc, North Dakota maybe even Georgia .
he plans tho fight a national campaign, he is not conceding ohio. latest poll has him 7 up and pennsylvania he has always polled better then mccain
Florida he has probably given up
In a lot of states, Hillary has only beat him by a small margin. I think when she drops out and gets behind him, some of her supporters will follow suit.
Plus, the race isn’t over when the Dem candidate is nominated. It’s just beginning. Obama will have time to campaign in those states and try to sway votes.
I don’t think Hillary is the one to nominate. If somehow she is the name on the ticket in Nov. I’ll vote for her, but she’s ran a bad campaign, is broke and seems to have verbal diarrhia. I don’t think she means harm but she engages her mouth before her brain. Not exactly comforting.
he will have to do a better job controlling his gaffes and get on his hands and knees and beg hillary voters to vote for him….its 5 months away he has time ..a long time…he also needs to correct this stuff

Things could change, and he is counting on the fact that Bush has done such a bad job that the swing states will vote for him. Officially, Obama’s people are saying that there are states that normally go for the GOP that he can make competitive, and win some of those. That is a long shot, because even though Obama has appeal to some GOP voters, once they get done disecting his record, I doubt the Red states will go his way.
Below is a possible electoral map for Obama versus McCain generated using recent poll numbers from multiple news sites, historical context and Karl Rove’s analysis.
The map shows Obama with a disadvantage, but that he is less than 3 points away from McCain in Ohio, Michigan, New Mexico, Iowa and Virgina. With Obama’s fund-raising advantage, he should easily win those states and win the General Election.
He will win in some “red’ states. My guess is MO, CO, and VA.
It is my estimation that he will also carry some southern states: LA, MS, and GA. I disagree with you about Pennsylvania. The polls predict that he will win there.
Sen. Clinton has no chance to win the nomination unless the super delegates allow her to do so. If this happens, they (the super delegates) will have to face their constituents and explain their reasoning. Super delegates would also face the consequences of going against the will of the people. Face it, your candidate has lost. However, please be gracious for the party’s sake.
I dislike Sen. Clinton (and her husband) very much. However, this would be an excellent time for her to organize a Women’s Rights foundation. It would be very well-received. She could also start planning for a campaign in 2012. Either way, it’s time to face facts.
