   Simple. Their is no such thing anymore. They are neoconservatives NOT true conservatives. As with some viruses, they purposely appear to be something they are not to evade detection.

   I think that true conservatives should become Independents. If not they should at least take hold of the libertarian party and tweak the party’s ideology a little.

   Let the neocons have the Republicon party as it withers away. This will at least bring an end to the anti-constitutional, massive government, huge debt, China borrowing, pro-amnesty era of the neocon.

   As a republican I can tell you that many republicans don’t consider what we have now as conservitive at all.
   We had an almost totally republican government and it ran amuck with pork spending and stepping all over the constitution.

    The conservative base is the problem. With a rabid dittohead base, you’ll never get the moderates you need to win. Maybe if the base took some Valium and chilled out a bit, you guys could get the votes you need. However soccer moms aren’t going to hang out with the Michigan Militia types.

    The best person I know to reinvigorate the conservative base is none other than that communist jerk Obama.
    Obama has already almost completely destroyed our economy. When he completes the job in a couple months, our base will probably triple.

    No, you really can’t tell us that for a face. Pollsters that were exactly right abou the states election results show that 85% of the country supports Obama & only 11% support you. How are you going to get decent people back when all you do is lie like you have here or say negativity things about the country. You can only attract people like yourself & this 11% like you are very different from the ones who have left your party. Everyday the reps. come on here with put down to liberals & the data base is filled with this insanity. I don’t think the people you are with will get any lower than 7% so I consider where you are now as dead but I will say at 7 you will be pronounced officially dead. That 7% that supports the rep. party will always be there cause there always has to be looneys. I don’t know that for sure though it might be that only 2% will stay so we will see. I remeber people like you before the election saying McCain won. You can’t see how things have changed thanks to W the dems are not the live & let live party. I admit I have a great life & it is very easy going & I don;t have to do much but last year I decided not to sit around & let the reps. destroy the innocent lives of the military & katrinia etc. You have failed to see that a lot of people who stayed out of politics will not stay out it anymore. You will not win back congree. Most rep. leaders don’t know how to use a computer & most young people are not interested in the rep. party. So the dems have some amazing stuff going on that the reps don’t have. By 2010 Obama’s force will be so much stronger & you have no chance. By 2012 many reps. will have died off & the young people who are 14 now will be voting for the first time. What do you have to offer them fear, stupidity, guns, ignorance, liars, this is a different world. get used to it cause dems are here to stay. I said “Oprah knows how to get what she wants & she is going to get a President” this was when I didn’t think he had a chace. Oprah is more powerful than any republican. I guess the pharmecutical co. have pumped a ton of money into Rush but he still doesn’t have the power of Oprah.

    Simple.If you say something is dead,people will tend to believe it.They foolishly follow trends(like which way the wind blows).They fail to realize that the majority of US Citizens,whether Republican,or Democrat,Have basic conservatism values.Family,Religion,Moral values etc.Its basically the young people whom have yet to really experience life on its own terms,away from the shelter of Mommy and Daddy(and their money) that have a larger tendency to be very liberal.
