Parents, do you consider yourselves to be either completely liberal or conservative?

I know, fοr myself, I аm down thе middle: fοr example, thеrе аrе ѕοmе things thаt I аm liberal οn, ѕοmе things I аm conservative οn.
And ѕοmе hardcore opinions thаt I mау hаνе held саn become different based οn personal experience wіth іt.

Before I even look аt thеѕе аnѕwеrѕ, I јυѕt want tο ѕау I took thе kids tο school, wаѕ gone fοr 10 minutes, аnd came home tο аll thеѕе аnѕwеrѕ! Wow!

Mе, people assume thаt I аm a complete liberal, ( I rесkοn bесаυѕе οf thе way thаt I present myself) аnd уеt I аm really conservative аbουt parenting. Gο figure!

*it just occurred to me that i was answering politically and you might have meant as a parent. i wouldn’t consider myself a liberal parent. on that one i reckon i’m more middle-of-the-road.
It’s a rare person who falls at on end of the spectrum or the other.

Well, I’m not a parent, but I consider myself to be conservative on all issues. My parents are that way, it was how I was raised, but I’ve also been taught to reckon for my self, and I have stuck with those beliefs.
I’m pretty conservative, but I’m liberal on a couple things.
For example, I don’t agree with the death penalty.
I am with Des. Im pretty liberal on many issues but I use my brain and can see many shades of grey.
Like every other aspect of my personality, I’m all over the board. An outsider would probably call me middle of the road but that’s probably too specific.

I am so right I make the regular right look like the left!! But oddly I live a very liberal lifestyle….LOL I am the mom you warn your kids away from. (look at that crazy mom, she has a nose piercing, a tattoo on her hand, always wears black and does her make-up all wacky….stay away form her!) Oh…and I cloth diaper, feed organic food to my family and use all of the green items I can……but yep, I am a Conservative!!
I’m smack down the middle
There are things i can view on both sides of the road,
I have the ability to see others view points and why they may have them, even if i don’t agree with them.
I am a social and fiscal conservative, although I do believe in a social safety net and programs that work. I am open minded and am not rigid in my beliefs. I also do not adhere to the far right ideology when it comes to ‘huge business’ and beating the war drums.

I am completely liberal when it comes to my life and completely conservative when it comes to my children.
As for politics I take each issue separately. I pray to God to protect me from any idiot who claims to be really conservative or liberal. There are too many variables in life too be so blind and follow a single philosophy.
Folks need to start thinking for themselves instead of carelessly following despise mongers from either side of an issue.
I consider myself honestly liberal both generally and as a parent. I am conservative though in that I wish to instill respect fo others in my girls, and I sometimes use a very conservative method of teaching – spanking their bottoms. So I guess I am middle of the road.
I’m very opinionated and I hold some views very closely, but I lean liberal on some things and conservative on others. In some ways, you could say I’m a hippie June Cleaver.
I would say I float more down the middle. I will go side-to-side depending on the situation, but most of the time I’m in the middle.

Somethings I am liberal about and others conservative. I also reckon thigns vary depending on the situation at hand. Like my son picked up a terrible habit from a play mate. I was a bit more liberal with consquences knowing the root of it. And, that I was a bit to blame for having him in the situation and not putting a stop to it at that time.
People assume I`m a complete liberal as well. I reckon I like standing on that corner and then assessing the situation. From that position I can go more conservative if need be. But, when you are on the conservative fence all the time there isn`t wiggle room.
Politically speaking, I am pretty left winged. As a parent I am somewhere in the middle, probably leaning a small more towards liberal in the baby stages, and more towards conservative in the toddler stages.
