Governor Christie on Collective Bargaining
Governor Christie says he is in favor of real collective bargaining where someone is in there representing the people who pay the bills, Footage from a town hall meeting in Hillsborough, New Jersey. March 2, 2011.
On February 3, 2011, Christie issued a Conditional Veto of Civil Service Reform A-3590 which would have permitted collective bargaining on matters covered by civil service. That alone should tell you where he stands.
You tell em El Gourdo De Nj
Government workers and the military have no right to collective bargaining. It is strictly a question of whether the people allow it. And they should not.
@avi614614 You are so right. Why doesn’t he even mention it?
It’s time that the public servants started living more like the public they’re serving. It would seem that they have forgotten that they are working for the taxpayers, not a king.
If I went to work in a? factory the first thing I’d do is join a union.

Christie it doesnt matter what your personal views on the 2nd A are, the fact is N.J is trampling on it. the SOTUS backs up the 2A, how can you stand by when your state is trampling on our constitution? you have all the power & responsibility to make change without the legislature. You can demand your AG write a letter recognizing the recent Scotus rulings, and we will automatically have the legal carry of handguns in the state, everyday you dont do that you are stepping on the constitution

People who get paid by funds taken from private citzens should not be able to negotiate against those citizens.
If you work for the govt and feel like you deserve more, you better come around with hat in hand and ask nicely.
