When Christie first became the US Attorney in NJ he said that he was appalled at politicians who believed that it was their obligation to be corrupt and take bribes etc. he commented at how common it was among mayors etc in the state. It is prevalent in all states, and actually was promoted with land use laws which were mandated to be put in place in all states by the Federal Government wanting city planing nation wide. This led to mayors being in control of way to much with property uses, and caused massive corruption.
Christie is a very good guy, we need him and he also has the nerve to make a difference and fight the Teachers unions etc. There are a lot of people in NJ that really like Christie.
I doubt he would make a move for the presidency in 2012 though. But you never know, even Trump might.
2. He IS saving the TAXPAYERS money. He’s allowing people that EARN their money to spend it how they see fit, not having a gov’t that comes in & steals it for their own GREED.
Christie’s service as a prosecutor had an influence in national security, when he led the team that prosecuted Hemant Lakhani, who had the desire to broker the sale of shoulder-fired missiles to shoot down American passenger jets. [5] When leaving office in December 2008 he was praised by every major newspaper in New Jersey. The Philadelphia Inquirer editorialized “Christie has already done more good for New Jersey than some previous governors.” The New York Times wrote that Christie “won widespread admiration for his aggressive fight against political corruption.”
Even Governor Corzine, Christie’s opponent in the gubernatorial election praised Christie in 2005, saying “I have supported Chris Christie as being our U.S. attorney, fought for his ability to be that, endorsed what he’s doing…There have been as many Republicans as Democrats who have been brought to justice because of Chris Christie. I think he’s doing a great job.”
Christopher James “Chris” Christie (born September 6, 1962) is the 55th and current Governor of New Jersey. He’s a republican. IMO. He’s a big mouth and bully. †
Governor of New Jersey. He’s a conservative republican .
He’s the only candidate Republicans should support for 2012.
Mr. Christie is the current Republican governor of New Jersey.
Conservative and he sounds good so far. I just checked him out because you keep bringing him up. That is a good idea.
