    Dont worry people property tax wont go up any higher then 3.5%…. You can only be paying DOUBLE in 28 years with compounding interest and *minor* 3.5% concurrent raises.

    It doesn’t seem to me that there are too few platforms at Penn Station in NY either considering that there are like 18 platforoms for LIRR (heading East) and another 15 or so (heading West) for NJ Transit and Amtrak.

    If there weren’t enough platforms at Penn Station NYC to handle all of the trains that come into it on a daily basis that might be one thing. Not enough tunnels leaving the city? Yeah (8^(

    I can tell you that SOMETIMES when I get on a train going through the current tunnels INTO NYC (mostly on Saturdays only) I can be in a car near the back of the train and still have empty seats near me. And though most of the cars are filled to capacity when they head back TOWARDS NJ (on Sundays when I come back), I have never heard of a situation where the train that I was on was delayed because of too much traffic on the line in front of my train.
