@barbtube01 … The national guard isn’t trained to pick up tar balls. It doesn’t matter if the Feds authorized a million guardsmen. That’s about as useful as sending over 6,000 pieces of band aid to the scene of a car accident and faulting the paramedic for not using them fast enough on the victim whose gushing blood.
What Jindal really needs and what he hasn’t gotten are the proper number of sand booms, clean up equipments and skimmers from the government.

@bookhound63 Someone said he realizes he has l;ost all the moderate people. The unaffiliated are mostly gone. So he has to appeal to the extremists in the green movement. There is no logical reason I can think of . Its weird.
@AJSensei Ignoring at this point is dangerous. We have to make sure we block him with congressional elections this fall. Ignoring them allows them to move forward with their agenda.

The federal government is getting in the way. It’s taking ages to approve plans to keep areas on the coastline clean. By the time they have approved them it’s too late.
