He wants to reform wall St and the banks, yet he refusses to inplement his promise of a transparent Govt. He will NOT post ANY congressional bills online as he promissed as Prez hopeful. He NEVER televised ANY House or Senate talks on C-SPAN as he said he would do. Lying sack of crap. They ALL lie when they get in office.

I see where you’re going and I’m not sure I entirely disagree with your premise, but I’m afraid you’re very wrong. The Federal Reserve had low interest rates throughout the 20′s, which helped create margin trading (stock trading not with savings but loans). The economy was too imbalanced to recover like the post WWI recession. I don’t support FDR policies, but in 1929 it was time to pay the piper. The 20′s were a credit illusion, just as the 90′s were.

Obama is not the friend of Brazil, Latin America, or the world for that matter unless you happen to be rich and politically connected. He’s expanded our wars; the US is now fighting in Somalia, Pakistan, Yemen, including Iraq and Afghanistan. This “reform” does nothing to the financial system it is only a charade to provide cover for Wall St. Did you know that the US Central Bank, the Federal Reserve gives Wall St. banks 0% percent loans that you PERSONALLY pay for in Brazil?

Nope those are all the people who support this bill.
The new “Consumer? Protection Agency” exists within the Fed, is ENTIRELY funded by the Fed. and the Fed Board of governors select the board of the new agency. The US government has little control over the new agency. The same institution that played the largest role in causing the crisis now gets even more power with Obama’s full approval. The major Wall St. banks still get their interest free loans from the Fed.

@Armigerous i don’t have a clue how it all started or what things are, and i don’t pretend to have a clue. what’s wrong with that? i doubt people living 2000 years ago could have had a better understand of *anything* than we do now. example, we know now that everything we are familiar with in real life appears from systems that obey boson or fermion statistics. THAT is much closer to figuring things out than religion ever was. and don’t get me started on technology and medical science
@Techra Well,the Bible clearly has a better notion of what it’s all about than you do in any case….you’re problem is you have no explanation of why things came into being or how we got to where we are other than to suggest it’s all just blind chance or some sort of cosmic accident….which,when you think about it, is on a lower order of probability than the theory that it’s all the result of a divine plan…by the way,’atheist’ means ‘apart from the deity’ in Latin…res ispa loquitur
@Armigerous the problem with ideas like that is they are way too vague to actually verify or to even figure out what is meant by them. i say something like a “god” can exist, but i don’t pretend to know what the hell such a thing would be like, and i’m pretty sure the bible doesn’t have a clue either
