Why would Gov. Chris Christie cut budgets of such important parts of the state?
Why would he cut the budgets of schools, police departments, and fire stations? The impact on my school is tremendous. Next year there will be no sports or extra-curricular, four of my teachers are loosing their jobs,and there will be only one gym class a week instead of three! The only reason he dares cut the budget on Public Education is because he sends his children to private schools! These republicans are scary! Over 20% of republicans think Obama is the Anti-Christ! I personally am writing letters to the governor, and I encourage the sensible people of New Jersey to do the same! Please help save our state from the maniac tactics of this man!
He’s trying to get your state’s budget in order, so you have a future without high taxes and debt. Give him a chance. It may hurt a little now, but if he doesn’t get things in order it will hurt a great deal later.
Obama is not the anti-Christ. He is just a frivolous, socialistic, narcissist.
Yes it is so easy to cut school funding when you will not be directly affected. But poor schooling affects everyone. It is the old story of “penny wise and pound foolish.”
yeah, i’m 16 years old and a junior, so this will be affecting me.
we’re one of the top schools with the rennassiance program, and
other people from different schools come to my school to see how
we do it. now we may not even have it next year. it sucks and it’s
something that i’m actually proud of.
yeah, and our budget NEVER gets passed (4 time in the last 40 years!)
and there’s a big chance that we will have nothing left. people find an
upside saying “they can’t give detentions with no late buses” but who
knows about that. i’m worried about all the sports scolarships people may
lose. my friend has broken records like crazy in track and it would suck for
her not getting any if track gets cut. our tennis courts were just redone, too!
this isn’t really answering your question, but i’m here with ya. and they may
cut the whole NJ STARS program, too! i think i’m in the 15% (which you have
to for that scholarship) top of my class, which i was only 16% last year.
all the old people vote down our budget. it use to be a joke, but now we really
will need it. we use to think it was bad before. yeah, his kids are in private
schools. i wonder if they have any public school friends, because i’d be so
pissed at him and it would kinda suck for them.
