He seems very impressive and is getting rave reviews from the people of NJ. I am hoping that Governors around the country will take note and follow suit.
However, I believe that the Gov of NJ has more power in his state than any other governors in any of the rest of the country have in their states. Specifically I think he has a line item veto that no others have and that has helped to make him really effective
It is going to isolate housing to a few select poor towns, I imagine these towns will look like Detroit in about ten years. Is it the right direction, I would say sure but it is not a perfect answer to problems that exist. I feel bad for the poor people that are on disability that will have to live within the criminal communes.
1. It eliminates another government agency.
2. It eliminates more tax burden on the working class.
3. It places the local government in charge of housing.
4. It keeps the state from controlling housing and playing politics.
5. It makes the people accountable.
6. It keeps the state from destroying the local housing market.

right on Christie
It’s a good move to reduce the state from providing financial support for low income housing. Thumb up for Christie
