Although I am an Obama supporter, any bet against this would be foolish. As the incumbent, he definitely has the highest statistical chance of winning.
A better question might be, who would you vote for… and put odds on some of the other potential candidates

If I had to pick someone today, it would have to be Obama. I don’t think there’s much to base a prediction on right now.
Ron Paul … he’s a cross between the parties. I’m hoping for the 3rd party. Just a matter of time for enough ppl to be convinced that neither party works for us any more.
Ron Paul is one of only 2 senators that refuses the pension.
ANY candidate that will campaign balance the budget gets my vote.
Depends on who’s running against Obama….none of the people being talked about right now have a chance,IMO….so at this point, I’d still bet on Obama.
If I had to bet now I would have to pick Obama mainly because the other candidates aren’t known. So, right now Obama is the only candidate, maybe. Obama has stated he is not a shoe in to run in 2012 if he hasn’t made any strides in improving this country. So in 2012, you may have a bunch of new names running for the office.
Barack Obama. I think most Americans have lost faith in both major political parties. They’d rather stick with the guy they are used to than take a chance on some new president.

These days, we don’t vote for people. We vote to AVOID people. Right now I’d take Obama over the GOP. Why? Because screaming liberal that he is, he is more centrist than the batty, tea drinking red-scare nut-jobs that the GOP have become. I put my money on the candidate nearest the center.
The Republicans will win.
