   Personally I hope Mitt Romney is the nominee and that he won’t lose. I don’t understand why people from both parties don’t want him, he’s the only qualified candidate to handle the economy.

   If the religious right votes in Romney, Palin or Huckabee, they will completely lose the independent, moderate and libertarian votes. They’d have to run someone more secular, less controversial and with broader appeal.

    I don’t think Chris Christie is any more electable than Mitt Romney.

    Coulter is not exactly an expert. She says outrageous things to get attention. I’m sure she says things she even knows aren’t true. Mitt Romney still has the smell of defeat on him from 2008, I doubt very much he could even get funds to run in ’12.

    No. It is too early for Christie to make a run at the Presidency. Maybe as a running mate for someone more established, or else wait until 2016/2020 depending on who wins in 2012.

    As an Independent, I would much prefer a “chris christie” over at ‘romney” for one fact: romney likes govt run programs, and is for universal health care. And he is pure politician–whereas Christie is in it for the fight and the change and the effectiveness of serving the tax payers and protecting regular working citizens.
    I like the idea of a President who wasn’t in it for himself, like the present one and so many before.
