I know they are two different political parties, but what is the main big difference? Also, is Obama a republican or democrat?

What better way to guard against the abuse of power than to put conservatives in charge of the nation’s purse strings and a liberal as commander-in-chief of the military? After all, the last time we had a Democrat president and Republican-controlled Congress they actually managed to balance the budget and even had a surplus.

I keep seeing questions about race playing a role in the Presidential race. Republicans were not going to vote for Obama anyway, so that only leaves them worrying about their own constituents. So again, How prevalent is racism in the Democrat party that they have to worry about until after election day?

Many small business owners feel that voting democrat would be something akin to hammering the final nail into their own coffins. Is this fear justified or the result of succesful "republican fear-mongering"? If this is the true result of Democratic policies, why? By the same token, if small business owners can actually benefit by breaking republican party lines and voting democrat, how?

I am convinced that if Obama wins it will be because of the massive voter fraud on the part of Acorn, democratic bureaucrats(like Ohio’s secretary of state) and the liberal smear and intimidation machine. In fact, I am certain that ANY democrat in office or "elected" to office benefited from fraud and cheating to get there.

I understand how you can be liberal or conservative, but how you can you be a conservative democrat or a liberal republican? Obama , a Democrat if elected, will he be as bad for our economy as the Democratic controlled congress has been? There is NO DOUBT that the control change of of congress from republican to Democratic control has been bad for everyone but the big business and members f congress.

I don’t get it. She wrote four words on her hand to remember bullet points. Obama reads all his speeches, word for word, in full. The man can’t ad-lib to save his life. Bush was more articulate freestyle than Obama is. But Palin writing down four bullet points is a scandal?
